In every moment we strive to do better
with every step we hope we are that much closer.
In the depths of our hearts we hold what we deem most precious
to scared to share with the world what makes us smile
in fear the world will take that and turn it to sorrow.
We are more than pieces on a global chess board
and our lives holds more meaning than slaving away for someone’s else dream.
We are unstoppable, unpredictable and unbelievable in our strengths and weaknesses
because no matter what situation we find ourselves in
the chance to change always presents itself.

My Journey 
You always come with the endings. You’re so right we can always change while we have the chance to do so. These lines really reeled me in: “In the depths of our hearts we hold what we deem most precious / to scared to share with the world what makes us smile”.

Thank you so much Benjamin and that was my favourite part to. It’s like sometimes we’re scared to share our dreams and passions and instead we sacriface what brings us joy to either be ‘normal’ or abandon our gifts altogether.

I absolutely love this and the words were so encouraging. As I was reading I was thinking about how much I can identify with that feeling of being too afraid to share what matters so much to me with the world. For a long time I held back and, to a point, I still do in some areas (I’m working on making that change slowly Lol). But this just reminded me that life is too short to live on the sidelines and be chained to fear. Sometimes we have to make those bold and daring moves if we want to live our dreams.
